Network service

Find medicines near you.

Pharmacies and hospital pharmacies connected to OpesCare publish what they hold to the network, so a patient can find a medicine before travelling rather than after.

Registered pharmacies only

Only pharmacies listed in the national health facility registry and connected to OpesCare can publish stock. An outlet that is not on the network never appears in a result.

Every listing is timestamped

Each result shows when the pharmacy last updated that item, so you can judge for yourself how much to trust it.

Prescription status is shown up front

Medicines that require a prescription are marked as such before you set out, not at the counter.

Reservation where the pharmacy offers it

Some pharmacies accept a short hold on an item. Where that is enabled, you can ask for one from the result itself.

Distance and opening hours

Results are ordered by how far away they are and show whether the pharmacy is open, so a match is an actionable one.

Stale stock is withheld, not shown

When a pharmacy stops updating an item, it drops out of results rather than lingering as a false positive.

What a listing does and does not mean

A listing is a pharmacy's own report of what it held at a moment in time — it is not a reservation and not a guarantee. Stock moves. Always check the update time, and call ahead for anything urgent.

For pharmacies

Pharmacies publish stock from the OpesCare pharmacy portal, or push it directly from an existing system through the Connect API. There is no separate inventory system to run and no data-entry burden beyond what you already track.

Medicines are searched from the patient app.

Browse the national facility directory on the web, or create a Health ID to search stock from your phone.
